Messy Church
is Real Church but different.
We meet once a month on the 2nd Saturday of each month between 5 pm and 7.30 pm.
Messy Church has 5 Core Values
All Age - that means people of all ages do lots of things together, kids, parents, grandparents etc. Each Messy Church is planned by a team aged from 5 years to over 80.
Hospitality - we try to make everyone welcome and provide something for all ages. We have a 2 course meal together to finish the evening.
Christ Centred - we believe in Jesus and endeavour to help people of all ages live the way he taught his friends.
Celebration - we love to celebrate our faith in Jesus with singing, prayers, stories, games and much more
Creativity - we recognise the creativity of God in every part of the universe from the largest farthest away planet to the tiniest sub atomic part …. and we want to enable people of all ages to be as creative as they can in fun ways.
We expect all children to be accompanied by their responsible adult at all times at Messy Church.
There is no cost for Messy Church. If people are able to make a donation towards the cost of the food and crafts we suggest starting with the amount it might cost your household for a fast food meal…. and we have an EFTPOS terminal if that helps.
Messy Church is a world wide movement that does not belong to any one church or denomination thanks to the generosity of Bible Reading Fellowship in the UK.
